Newer Websites

Websites I have worked on since 2013.

Newnham Associates Careers Workshop Microsite
I had the privilege of building this microsite for the Newnham Associates, a group of former students at Newnham College, Cambridge University. They required a system to handle the booking of an event with the possibility of some people being offered lunch, and being able to choose an appointment as well as the person they would like to see. In addition to this, they required a system to allow the people booking to be able to view their booking online should they need to view it after the fact. This website went live on Monday 16th October, 2017, with additional behind the scenes changes made as required by the stake holder.
TicketsToSee
A ticket reseller who gets hold of tickets which can be impossible to find anywhere else!

The North American Guitar
This website landed in my email after one of the recruitment agencies I occasionally contract through called me and asked me if I'd be interested in working on an American guitar manufacturer's website. Imagining the amazing rock guitars of the 1980's, I jumped at the chance. The reality was different, but the website was fun to work on all the same. The website was created in Drupal 7, and whilst I only removed some functionality and added some new pages to the website, it broadened my knowledge of American guitars!

CCD Beauty PR
I constructed this website based on designs provided by the client's brother. Running on the WordPress framework, with custom modules to help with the unsual nature of the integration. The website is entirely controlled via a desktop application, which was built in VB.NET 2005. I was also responsible for the design, development, and testing of the desktop application which accompanies this website, and now controls their main website as well.
Shropshire ITC
I created this website for a small local IT business based in Telford, Shropshire, under the direction of it's owner. I maintained the website for over 6 months afterwards. Developed in WordPress and using a custom built theme and utilizing several custom plugins to allow support tickets and other systems to be integrated directly into the website.
SleepPro
I built this website based on a design provided by an external designer. This website is based on WordPress, and was built to replace an existing older website. Whilst the website was being built, all considerations of replacing an existing website were looked into, including redirecting old pages to the new pages, and importing old products and customers.
Stadium Car Parks
I built the stadium car parks website in ASP, rather than PHP at the request of the client, another externally designed website, with no framework, as the website included a fully featured car parking space booking engine, payments engine, and administration area, which allows staff to allocate spaces for staff, free of charge for customers, and for other people, before sending out payment requests.
UAT.CC
I created this website in late 2011 to prove to some colleagues at the time, that creating a URL shortening service could be created within a week. I managed to put this website together in 3 days, and won a £250 bet in the process! To date it has converted over 23,000 URLs into their short form.
